The RAF Air Cadets is a voluntary youth organisation under the sponsorship of the RAF to promote and encourage among young people a practical interest in aviation and the Royal Air Force (RAF), to provide training which will be useful both in the Services and civilian life and to foster the spirit of adventure and to develop the qualities of leadership and good citizenship.
