About Acorn Playgroup and Pre-School, Welwyn

Acorn Playgroup and Pre-School nursery was founded in 1992 in Oaklands, Welwyn. After 18 years at Oaklands, we moved to Welwyn village in 2012 and opened the doors to our new, permanent home on the 16th April 2013. Acorn offers a flexible, high quality educational care for children from the age of 2 up to 4 year olds. We aim to create a welcoming, safe & secure environment where we recognise that every child is unique & we strive to extend the child's development and learning.
