About Meningitis Research Foundation Kilimanjaro 2021 - Adam Gibbons

In August 2021, I will be attempting to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania in aid of Meningitis Research Foundation, a charity which helps to raise awareness and combat meningitis and sepsis. My primary motivation for undertaking this campaign is largely down to personally knowing a few people who have had run-ins with both meningitis and sepsis in the past, as well as recently finding out that it is not as well known as diseases such as cancer and tetanus.
