Alderney Music Festival

I hope that you will give this some consideration. I am helping to organise a music festival on Alderney for the summer 2011 and am looking for companies who might be interested in sponsoring the event. Having spoken to Jo Parmentier from Alderney tourism, it seems that the best thing to do would be to hold it around 2/3 weeks after Alderney week to entice people to stay on. There should be T.V. coverage from local channels B.B.C.and I.T.V. and I am hoping that this will be able to go up to national coverage. I have,already created a great line up of bands and musicians who are all very keen to take part and Alderney Shipping have said that they will help to ship all the necessary equipment. I think that this could be the start of a popular annual festival along the lines of \"Bestival\" on the Isle of Wight, the organisers of which I have been in contact with for about a year,now. This event will be held in aid of \"The Stroke Association\" U.K. Kind regards, Mark(Paterson P.S. I suffered a stroke in January 2006 when I was 47 years old .My life and my family\'s life has, of course been devastated. I have tried many searches for more rapid improvement than the usual physio e.t.c. as I have improved alot, but it is too slow. I played the guitar for 35 years before I had the stroke and am desperate to get back to it . I have started voluntary work for \"The Stroke Association\" in the hope that I can, at least, be of some help to others in my position, hence,my trying to raise funds for the Association .
