About Ancoats Dispensary Trust

Ancoats Dispensary Trust began as a reactionary, grassroots movement in 2012 to the proposed demolition of the Grade II Ardwick and Ancoats Dispensary, Manchester. We aim to take on ownership of this unique piece of architectural, medical, artistic, and industrial heritage, and to stabilise it before restoring it as a sustainable community asset acting as a vibrant hub of health and well-being, heritage, creative enterprise, training and education. Donations would be used as urgent match funding enabling us to unlock the substantial HLF Enterprise Stage 1 grant awarded to us in July 2014
