About Arcaid

Arcaid is a small charity funded chiefly by parishioners of St Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church in Farnham, Surrey. Trustees meet 5-6 times a year to consider applications for funding from overseas projects which will benefit small local communities around the world. Recently it has supported good causes in, e.g., Guatemala, Bolivia, India, Grenada, South Africa, Malawi, Tanzania and Uganda, mainly for educational and health projects, and most recently offering emergency Covid-19-related aid.
