About Belarus Free Theatre

Belarus Free Theatre (BFT) is a UK charity and a UK-based international award-winning theatre company. Guided by principles of freedom of speech and artistic expression, our work is about social justice, taboo zones and violation of human rights. We make heard people deprived of their voice and tell their untold real stories. We work across borders: underground in Belarus - outlawed by dictatorship for telling the truth - and in the UK, openly to thousands of enthusiastic audiences.
