About Operation Wallacea Madagascar 2017 - Billy George

The Madagascan forests receive little protection for the conservation of wildlife. During the expedition we will be collecting data relating to the biodiversity of two sites, Mahamavo dry forests and Nosy Be Island. This data will be used to establish the forests as a community managed protected area for sustainable use. This is a unique opportunity to experience first hand the rich wildlife of Madagascar and take an active part in it's conservation.
