About Bunyan Meeting Church

We are a very active town centre church founded in 1650 and amongst our previous ministers was a gentleman called John Bunyan who whilst in prison wrote the Pilgrims Progress which is known world wide. Our premises are used by many community groups during the week and we also have on site the John Bunyan Museum and recently the basement has been opened as an art centre. The money raised from this venture will help towards the day/day running costs which are in excess of £500 per day and growing
