I'm conducting my PhD fieldwork in Taipei, Taiwan. This involves working alongside LGBTQ+ folks and feminist women in Taiwan to produce interviews, photographs, and possibly a short film. Plus, I'm doing all this in Mandarin Chinese! I have been excited about doing this fieldwork since I began my PhD at SOAS (London) in 2020. The data I collect will become the core of my PhD thesis, which I hope I will be able to share (as a book!) with you in the future.
