About Cathays And Central Youth And Community Project

By supporting young people with additional need to take an active role in their community the project challenges negative attitudes and celebrates ability rather than focusing on disability. Participants are supported to become more independent and to reach their potential, thereby benefiting the wider community as well as enhancing their own well-being. Cathays IYP has 120 members aged between 11 and 25 years, all have learning difficulties and/or autistic spectrum disorder.
