About Operation Wallacea Honduras 2014 - Charlotte Long

In June 2014 I will be travelling to Utila, Honduras with Operation Wallacea to conduct a research project concerning the correlation between fish species presence and abundance, with the proximity to human settlement, for both shallow and mesophotic coral reefs. The research concerning mesophotic coral reefs is not one which has been completed previously and therefore will significantly contribute to areas of conservation focus. It will allow a greater insight into the impact of human presence on the survival of coral reef ecosystems.
