About Children's Book Project

We believe in the empowering impact of book ownership. Working with settings across the UK, we redistribute thousands of new and gently used books to children and their families with very few books of their own. Through celebratory book gifting events, children select and keep books they really want and without realising their literacy improves as they immerse themselves in the stories and characters. Wider reading communities form, learning is aided, and future outcomes significantly enhanced.
