Operation Wallacea Croatia 2023 - Chung Zhi Yuek

I am an undergraduate student at the University of Bristol, and I am passionate about volunteering and making a difference in the world and environment. I have been presented with an opportunity of going on a volunteer trip abroad, but I don't have enough money to cover the costs. That's where I need your help. Previously, I have done a volunteer week in Malaysia's SEATRU, Sea Turtle Research Unit and have fallen in love with volunteering expeditions towards the environment. I am reaching out to ask for your support in raising money for my volunteer trip to Operation Wallacea. I will be working with a local organization in the country for a month, learning survey techniques and conservation methods for the protection of the terrestrial, and marine environment and biodiversity. I have yet to decide on a country but it will either be Croatia, Madagascar or Honduras. Where I can travel will depend on the goal I meet through donations and my part-time job. Your donations will help cover the cost of my flights, accommodations, and other expenses associated with the trip. Any amount, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated and will go towards funding me opportunities to making a positive impact in the world.
