About Carlton Main Frickley Colliery Band

Carlton Main Frickley Band is a fully self funded brass band located in the village of South Elmsall, West Yorkshire The band was established in 1884 and from this point has become one of the most famous names in the brass band World. In it's history the band has won nearly every major title including European Champions, British Open Champions, Yorkshire Champions, Granada Band of the Year, BBC Best of Brass Champions and many more. The band is currently ranked 10th in the World.
