About Cumbria LGBT Pride
Members of the LGBT+ community suffer discrimination, exclusion and many are afraid just to be themselves. Pride is often viewed as just a ‘party’, but whilst it is a celebration of strength and unity, it is ALSO a vitally important event offering support to LGBT+ youngsters, teens, adults, seniors, families, friends, employers ... all within a safe place where everyone can feel welcome! Cumbria Pride fundraise to hold a Pride event each year so that positive messages of inclusion can be shared!
