I will be working in Sri Lanka for 8 weeks taking part in teaching english, aiding children's development who are suffering from the effects of poverty, working in a psychiatric hospital and also with special needs children. Sri Lanka is sparse on psychologists and mental health experts, and is still recovering from their 25 year long civil war as well as the 2004 tsunami, therefore any help and support they receive is valued immensely.
