About Derwent Valley Trust

The Derwent Valley Trust is working to provide an off-road cycle trail along the River Derwent from Derby to Baslow and a paddle route up the river. The aim is to provide sustainable access to and enjoyment of the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site. We have already developed a walking route, the Derwent Valley Heritage Way, which provides a 55 mile walk from Ladybower Reservoir in the Peak District via Chatsworth and Derby to the river mouth in Shardlow.
