About Operation wallacea Cuba 2015 - Douglas Fraser

As an Environmental Geography student, I hope to do my dissertation on the keystone reef-building coral species Acropora cervicornis in conjunction with the Operation Wallacea marine project established in the Punta Francis National Park, Cuba. This species is arguably the most important due to great structural complexity, but also the most threatened. For such expeditions to be possible, Opwall requires additional funding - primarily from volunteers such as myself, and any prospective supporters!
