I will be a research assistant on 4 week expedition based on a research boat in a remote part of the Pacaya-Samiria Reserve in the Amazon. The expedition designed to train participants in the survey techniques and to identify some of the main species encountered including work on the macaw point counts, mist netting, caiman, amphibian, fishing bats, large mammal camera trapping, gill netting for fish, dolphin and turtle transects and habitat assessment surveys
