About Camps International Peru 2017 - Emma Henriksen

During the month I am in Peru, I will be doing work on projects to improve the standard of living for poor, rural communities. We will be visiting three key camps in Peru, in each one will be building and restoring classrooms and community facilities. Also, we will be working in school kitchens and greenhouses to boost hygiene and increase the nutritional content of meals as malnutrition is very common in these areas. We will have the chance to interact with the communities, teaching English and ICT skills to children in the areas.
