Encounters Festival is the UKâ€™s leading competitive international showcase of short and animated content and is accredited to three major awards (BAFTA, European Film Academy, and Academy Awards). The festival discovers, supports and develops new talent in filmmaking, providing a platform for emerging and established filmmakers from around the world, and a unique meeting place for the industry.
