About Equal Aqua

We want to live in a world where adequate water and sanitation facilities are available for all. In rural Uganda fetching water can take up to two hours per day for each household – a burden often carried by women and girls. This has devastating effects on health, education and livelihoods.Equal Aqua works with communities in Uganda to improve access to water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH). We tackle WASH inequalities, such as gender, age, ethnicity, status (refugees) and income.Please consider working with us so that we are able to transform the lives of more hard-to-reach groups and deliver on SDG6: Clean Water and Sanitation for all.
