About Friends of Halsnead Allotment and Food Initiative

We are a not for profit group who grow our own produce and rent out plots to the local community We have a social supermarket where people pay £4 and get £16 worth of food. We also have regular activity days for the local children and events for the local community. We give out coats, clothes, shoes, school uniforms, toys etc that have been donated to us to those who need We are raising money to ensure that we can keep the social supermarket running and also to be able to offer activities such as Forest School, crafts, pensioner and single mens events, mental health and wellbeing events and other
