About Friends of Hull General Cemetery

We are a member of the National Federation of Cemetery Friends. We have been established for the last 4 years. Our aim is to preserve the monuments in this historic disused cemetery and also to maintain the environmental aspects of the site's woodland that has established itself during the 40 years since the cemetery's closure. We also are working to eradicate the anti social problems that beset such sites. We work with the local council, the land owner, who fully supports our aims and work.
