About World Challenge Mongolia 2019 - Rachel Bradley

I will be travelling to Mongolia in July 2019 soon after the end of my GCSE studies. As well as being excited about visiting a truly fascinating country, a large part of the expedition will be the community experience which I am keen to get involved with. Based at a local school or village we will work as part of a team, improving facilities for locals or school children. It could be anything from renovating sanitation facilities, building pathways, creating playgrounds or painting and renovating classrooms. Thankfully any work we do in schools will take place during their term time so it should be great fun (as well as hard work!). I'm looking forward to seeing such different landscapes and trekking as well as being surrounded by such a different culture.
