About The Lay Community of St Benedict

The LCSB is dedicated to the Gospel and the spirituality of Saint Benedict. Members are married and single, but not based in a specific location. There are active regional groups with members who are interested in Benedictine spirituality. While our roots lie in the Catholic Church, members from other Christian traditions have always played a full part in the life of the community.
