About Friends of Hampshire County Youth Wind Ensembles

The Hampshire County Youth Wind Ensembles form part of the network of highly successful musical opportunities provided by Hampshire Music Service, which cater for young Hampshire musicians at all levels. The Friends organisation is run on a voluntary basis and supports the work of the ensembles though fundraising. Funds raised are spent on music, musical instruments and training opportunities for the young people in the ensembles.
