About Hope in Christ Community School - Zambia

The Hope in Christ Orphanage & School is run by Paul & Mary Swala on the edge of one of the large shanty compounds in Lusaka, Zambia. The orphans are the children of prisoners who have died. The school provides education for them and the surrounding community with between 150 to 180 children at any one time and up to 32 orphans housed on site; others are accommodated with family or foster parents locally. Funding is needed to feed all the children every day and to pay the teacher's salaries.
