About Human Milk Foundation

We are a new charity with a single mission - to help more babies in the UK receive human milk. We provide donor milk to hospitals to feed very premature babies until their mums can produce enough milk. We give donor milk to families where breastfeeding is impossible, such as where mums have cancer. We support groundbreaking research to understand how breastfeeding protects the health of mothers. And we develop resources to describe the science of human milk - it is a quite a story!
