About Operation Wallacea Indonesia 2016 - Jennifer Finlay

Coral are not just animals, they are also habitats, hosting a large number of organisms. They keep reef fish safe from predators and play host to photosynthesizing algae. I believe coral to be so important to the whole marine environment and I would love to be a part of observing how Indonesia's coral are reacting to human activity so in July 2016, I plan to travel to Indonesia and work with scientists who are part of a long term study, looking at how coral is being affected by climate change.
