About GOLD Guyana 2012 - Jessica Walker

GOLD (Guiding Overseas Linked with Development) is run by Girlguiding UK, and gives 18-30 year olds the chance to be involved in community action projects overseas. There are 8 projects worldwide in 2012, and each project runs for a period of 5 years. I am very excited to be selected for the team going to Guyana, in South America! We will be helping the Guyana Guides Association to write resources to grow their organisation, and also completing an environmental project whilst we're out there.
