J's Academy

The academy is a small organisation in Teignmouth Devon, which runs karate lessons for children. The club has been running for over 10 years by the coach James White. James not only dedicates his time twice a week to training as well as being a full time fireman. James does not make a profit from running the club, and any funds are used to cover the costs for families that cannot afford lessons or equipment. The children rage from age 5- 15 years and it is very inclusive with 1-2-1 sessions for children that feel overwhelmed but the larger class, quite areas if anyone is feeling over stimulated. And the ability to free roam it required. But in the recent years has encouraged many of the children to enter national competitions. 5 of the children have been very successful and achieved acceptance in to AMA Karate England Team, with places in the WUKF World Championships in Malmo Sweden this year. Because the club has never been about making money, it is not able to help fund this self funded trip. So it is reaching out on behalf of the children to try and secure some funds to allow the children to attend.
