About Katie's New Ride

Katie has a progressive neurological condition called Friedreich's ataxia and has been a wheelchair-user for 15 years. A series of cycle rides will take place over a 10 week period by Geoff Griffiths, Steadman Francis, Slawek Marczak, Claudia Bacchi, Neil Harvey and Adam (who work at/go to the gym she goes to) and friends. They will aim to complete as many miles as possible over these 10 weeks (a minimum of 5,000 miles) to raise funds towards Katie's new Balder/etac powerchair.
