About Play Action International Uganda 2022 - Lauren Pollard

Hi everyone!Where would we be without playgrounds?In July 2022 I will be travelling to Uganda with Play Action International to build a playground for a community school there. I will be supporting both children and adults to develop their learning and teaching, and provide a safe space to allow children to play and make friends. The playground we build will be designed to reflect the community around it, and gives young adults the chance to undertake an apprenticeship in welding, providing them with qualifications to enter the world of work and generate income for themselves. I am so excited for the opportunity to make a difference this summer.From me and the children you will be supporting, thank you!
