About The Leila Sailing Trust

22/1/13 Payee #76998 We are raising funds to help young people sail with us on a recently restored Victorian racing cutter, specifically for the Tall Ships Race 2013. We are based in Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth, areas of high unemployment and deprivation, and we want to ensure that local kids get a chance to sail. They will be part of a crew of nine racing day and night across the Baltic Sea, building teamwork, confidence and resilience. They will meet young people from other countries once in port.
