About Project Trust India 2013 - Lizzy Heward

My name is Lizzy Heward, I attend Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College and am currently in my second year studying for my A Levels. In August 2013 I am planning to go on a gap year with Project Trust to primarily be an English teacher in a rural village community in Tamil Nadu, where I would be based on site at the centre of an organisation running a host of social programs from an elderly home, agriculture programs, a free school and a children’s’ home. In order to embark on this project, I must raise £5,400. The aim of this project is to teach English to children in order to enhance their job opportunities and give them a brighter future. As well as this I will be setting up after school clubs for the children in my spare time such as sports and music clubs and also will utilise myself around the community as much as possible by helping with things such as the repair and renovation of buildings.

"There's quite a few sites similar to easyfundraising. But where this site stands out is it's helpful & quick replies to queries. It is so easy to set up an account & to start saving for a good cause - I've recommended easyfundraising to a lot of my friends, and they're as impressed as I am with the ease of how it works."

David - easyfundraising user

"I run a not for profit Community Interest Company and shared our cause. Very easy to use, templates ready to share on social media, with direct links to our page and pop up reminders installed for when I was shopping with numerous websites, where I could gain the free donation. Excellent service and a fabulous idea."
