Motorsport 2023 - Lucas Blantford

Lucas Blantford began Racing in 2021 with his first full year racing in the Honda Cadet group, which had the most competitive Honda grid there had been for many years. He competed in multiple different championships, including the Ultimate Karting Championship, collecting race wins and podiums, and taking P3 overall. The Motorsport UK British Kart Championship taking P18, in both of which he was named top privateer where both championships attracted a grid of 45 experienced drivers. He also took the Midland Championship crown at Rissington, along with race wins and top-three finishes across the UK. 2022 saw Lucas move up to the next level of karting; Rotax Mini Max, a 2-stroke water-cooled engine that can reach speeds of 70 MPH. Again in 2022 showing his ability by winning various club meetings, one of which he is currently leading the overall championship, and also dominating the chosen national Championship so Far in 2022. As one of Lucas' current sponsors Elite Capital & Co Ltd are very supportive and currently looking ahead to the 2023 season which will see Lucas continue his driver development in the BRSCC Fiesta Junior Championship a TCR UK support series for 2023 and beyond. Lucas has begun testing already and will be fully ready for the 2023 season. There will be hospitality on offer for each round. With the future aims of BTCC, TCR, GT & MINI CHALLENGE; Lucas has a bright future in racing ahead Of him.
