Funds4Uni - Madison Leask - 2021

I am raising funds to enable me to study a Master's degree in Cancer Biology. The course fees to study this degree are approximately £16k - significantly greater than the maximum available postgraduate loan (£11.5k) which makes it implausible for me to fund, even without taking into consideration the cost of living on top of this. I want to do this Masters degree to increase my research experience and subject specific knowledge of cancer biology and therapy, in order to increase my chances of being accepted into the highly competitive NHS Scientist Training Programme to train as a clinical cancer geneticist. I have always wanted to help people, and have personally known families tragically affected by cancer which have always inspired me in my studies so that one day I can contribute to the early diagnosis and treatment of this dreadful disease in order to extend patients' life expectancies. By completing an MSc in Cancer Biology, I would also be contributing to valuable research that will help to save lives.Please shop with my Funds4Uni whenever you use online shopping to help me achieve my goal.
