Many Hands 25

Many Hands 25 C.I.C is a non-profit social enterprise to support people in Silsden and the surrounding area. All at Many Hands know what it is like to suffer lack of confidence and self-esteem as a result of life events, having experienced these first-hand. We have a common love of art & craft, peer to peer support and know how soothing, therapeutic and mindful creativity can be. Our understanding of how creative therapies can take your mind off life for a while led us to set up Many Hands so we could share this passion with locals suffering with their own mental health issues to empower them by encouraging creativity, positive social connections and relationships. We want to run our Re-Create programmes - six 2-hourly creative approaches to a group of 10 people to help to manage their poor mental health, improve their confidence and self-worth. They will take part in safe, comfortable creative approaches/workshops. They will learn and develop practical creative skills of their choice (crafting, printing, journal writing) to empower them to become more independent and gain confidence. We will support those who choose to take part via Zoom to build up their confidence to come into the studio to take part in face-to-face sessions during their workshop programme.
