About NewstrAid Benevolent Fund

Since 1839, The NewstrAid Benevolent Fund (fondly known as "Old Ben") has been helping anyone from the UK news trade (or their immediate dependants) who has fallen on hard times. Retail newsagents, people who work in retail newsagents, wholesaler newsagents, news distributors and circulation departments, anyone who works or has worked could receive help. They might have suffered injury, redundancy, fallen into debt or just be trying to survive on a state pension - NewstrAid can help.
