The problem with SFE loans is that they only take into account how much your household income is. It’s great that my parents have some money - this however doesn’t mean they are going to give it to me and so I end up living off of less than £100 a month, usually rationing my food by the 15th or so until the following month when I can get another 100. I live in an area that has 3 uni’s and 1 college in the area so as you can imagine all the part-time jobs are gone too. I’m really struggling!
