On The Verge sprang to life in May 2019 when a group of us were drawn together by a simple idea... that we could make a small difference to our environment. We were worried about the state of our planet, but we also recognised that by coming together we could supply some seeds of hope. All is not lost. JOIN US... there’s so much we can all do to help if we work together with nature: Create amazing spaces in and around our communities - giving nature a helping hand in gardens and parks, on verges and playgrounds. Make small nature-friendly actions, even when no-one is looking, to help redress the balance and come together in true and honest collaborations. Leave part of lawns uncut to attract a greater amount of insect life, which will, in turn, increase the bio-diversity of the space. All of our planet's soil is connected. Take action to create wildlife habitats, in all sorts of places, specifically to increase the number and range of pollinators, of all shapes and sizes. GET INVOLVED...
