About One Acchord Ladies A Cappella Chorus

30 ladies from all parts of the Scottish Borders meet weekly to sing in 4 part a cappella harmony. (unaccompanied by music) We are members of the nationwide organisation LABBS (Ladies Association of Barbershop Singers) The act of singing is known to bring considerable health benefits, both physical and mental. Being part of a like-minded group enhances a sense of belonging and provides friendship and social support. Fund raising enables us to attract new members and improve our ability.
