About Oxford Playhouse

Oxford Playhouse and it's Burton Taylor Studio present a wide range of live performance including the best of British and international drama, family shows, contemporary dance and music, student and amateur shows, comedy, lectures and poetry. The Playhouse also produces and tours its own shows, hosts artists in residence and presents Playhouse Plays Out, an ongoing series of off-site events which happen at locations across Oxfordshire. Our Learning and Community Participation Programme reaches over 15,000 people each year. We are a registered charity and each year we need to raise £200,000 from charitable sources. Supporting Oxford Playhouse helps us to safeguard the strong artistic programme, develop our Learning and Community Participation work and keep improving the building to make it as welcoming as possible.
