About Oxgangs Neighbourhood Centre

Founded in 1995, Oxgangs Neighbourhood Centreâ€™s mission is to provide facilities and an atmosphere which encourages local people to take part in activities and through this, to promote development of new skills, forming of friendships and community well-being in an enjoyable and safe environment in order to benefit the wider community as a whole. The ONC is run by the community, for the community, with our success based on our volunteers, from the management committee through to our cafÃ© staff and other volunteers, without whom the centre would not be able to operate. The ONC is run on a very simple principle that all centre users are treated equally and all activities provided are enjoyable and fun whilst developing positive relationships and promoting well-being.
