World Challenge India 2016 - Peter Ward

We will arrive in Dehli and travel through several states including the beautiful mountainous region on Uttarakhand. Then we will go on a number of treks from mountains to lakes and up to Mountain Quail Camp where our project will be based. Here we will be working with primary schools and helping them out in a various of different ways from making the school look a better place to teaching and organising sports. We will also learn the culture of the local people and learn how they live. We will then begin our Temple trek in the foothills of the Himalayas, where we get to experience the grand landscape and scenery. We will then visit the Tiger reserve, where we will learn about the Tigers and leapards Jim Corbett tracked and recorded. We will then visit the world famous Taj Mahal in Agra and is one of the seven wonders of the world. That will wrap up our expedition as we then begin to get ready to depart from India and return home.
