Rural Community Council of Essex is an independent charity working to help rural communities to achieve a thriving and sustainable future. We address issues such as social isolation, poor access to services and shortage of affordable housing - all crucial to people living and working in rural Essex today. Example projects: our Village Halls Advice Service supports local volunteer trustees; our Community Agents promote and support independent living; our Leader programme helps small businesses.
