About SAFE (Saving Abandoned Fly-grazing Equines)

SAFE is a small group of experienced volunteers who support local landowners to legally rescue and re-home abandoned and neglected horses in the Berkshire & Surrey area. If funds and voluntary assistance are available, the group will rehabilitate rescued horses until they are healthy and suitable for re-homing. We are a small group of horse-loving volunteers in Berkshire & Surrey who could not sit back and watch abandoned and fly-grazed horses and ponies suffer.
