About Scottish Communities for Health and Wellbeing

Scottish Communities for Health and Wellbeing (SCHW) formally Scottish Healthy Living Centre Alliance formed 2007 to represent Scottish Healthy Living Centres. SCHW now represents 74 community led health improvement organisations, it supports and advocates on behalf of these organisations; works on sustainability, establishing strong partnerships with key stakeholders. SCHWs aim is to embed community-led approaches to health improvement and to reduce health inequalities in Scottish communities.
